The Raleigh Ringers began a Capital Campaign in 2003 to raise money for a 20-foot box equipment truck to haul 47 cases of bells and 5,000 pounds of equipment and supplies to and from concerts. The time had arrived when the 15-foot box truck that was usually rented became too difficult to locate when one was needed for an out-of-town concert. And whenever the group wanted to travel with the stage set, a 15-foot truck was simply too small. As a volunteer organization that is supported solely by performance fees, merchandise sales and generous patrons, The Raleigh Ringers could not afford the truck without assistance.

Thanks to the generous Truck Campaign supporters and the understanding people at Coastal Federal Credit Union, The Raleigh Ringers is now the proud owner of a new 20-foot Mitsubishi diesel truck.

Thanks to the generosity of the donors listed below, over $12,000 was raised during the Capital Campaign. In February 2005, The Raleigh Ringers paid off the loan on the truck, and it now officially belongs to the group! Thanks to everyone who helped The Raleigh Ringers achieve this dream come true!
