The "Friends of The Raleigh Ringers" giving program provides an opportunity for individuals and corporations to help The Raleigh Ringers bring its music to the community and the world. From 1995 through 2002, Friends’ donations were used solely to expand the bells and instruments. The group started with five octaves of Malmark handbells, and now owns 29 1/2 octaves of bells and chimes plus numerous percussion instruments. Recent purchases include the lower 6th octave of Malmark Chimes, a set of Cup Bells from the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, a set of rare Silver Melody Bells, Musser orchestra chimes and most recently, a two-octave set of Deagan handbells. Generous Friends of The Raleigh Ringers have donated over $90,000 since the campaign began in 1995.

While the Friends program was started to help The Raleigh Ringers buy instruments, donations are now also being used to help defray the group's administrative and production expenses, which have increased dramatically since The Raleigh Ringers was founded in 1990. Therefore, it’s necessary to continue to receive support from the Friends of The Raleigh Ringers to help fund the expansion of the group’s bell sets and equipment, conduct workshops, commission music and present concerts.

If you or your organization would like to become a Friend of The Raleigh Ringers, please contact the Managing Director at the address at the bottom of this page or visit the group’s online store. All donations are completely tax-deductible, and corporate matching fund programs are accepted. For your convenience, MasterCard, Discover and Visa are also accepted for donations. Donors at all levels are listed in programs and on the Website. Out-of-state contributors may receive merchandise benefits in lieu of ticket incentives.

The Raleigh Ringers sincerely appreciates the support and generosity of the Friends donors through the years. Without their support, The Raleigh Ringers wouldn’t be able to perform and serve at the current level.
